    Dovetail creates social impact by employing people of all abilities and backgrounds, including people with disability. We employ people on full award wages, creating wealth generation and economic independence, and reducing reliance on the NDIS.

    We employ many initiatives across the business. For example, modular designs are rebuilt & repurposed without waste. Our timber mill reduces the amount of timber going to landfill by processing it into decking, fencing and bedding for poultry.

And our products are created by people of all abilities with a passion for manufacturing, opening the doors of opportunity and benefiting the community.

Dovetail is a social enterprise backed by the Bedford Group, which has provided jobs to the disability community since 1945. Dovetail employs people of all abilities, removing barriers to employment and supporting people to reach their life goals through expanded career opportunities and an opportunity to earn an award wage.

We invest in lean, more environmentally sustainable practices and actively seek opportunities for circular production, where waste product is repurposed.
